'2005 China International Auto Industry Exhibition will be held form March 30 to April 3 in Chongqing city in southwest China said an official with the organizing committee Saturday.

He said those auto manufacturers applied for the exhibition include Chongqing Changan Group, Ford, Shanghai Volkswagen Corp., Beijing Hyundai, and Dongfeng Nissan. Auto manufactured by Chongqing Lifan Group, a former motorcycle maker, will also debut at the exhibition.

Under the arrangement of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the world's major auto parts purchasers will attend the exhibition.

A personnel trade fair will also be staged in the same duration, and more than 200 positions are open to the applicants.
