    Consumers' hot line

    An operator at the hotline 12315 takes a calling-in complaint about consumers' rights in Beijing March 11, 2005. As the Consumers' Rights Day, March 15, approaches, the number of complaints filed with the hotline also increases, from about 1,500 to more than 2,500 a day. The complaints will be forwarded to law enforcers at the industrial and commercial administrations for investigation. The consumers would be informed of the investigation results in nine days.     Hu Jintao elected Chairman of CMC

    Hu Jintao, general secretary of the Communist Party of China and Chinese president, was elected chairman of the state Central Military Commission (CMC) in Beijing Sunday.
