Total foreign investment in actual use tops $570 bln in China

The latest statistics from the Ministry of Commerce show that contracted foreign investment in China during the first two months reached $20.052 billion and foreign investment in actual use was $7.969 billion, which grew by 6.15 percent and 8.21 percent respectively year on year.

Newly approved companies with foreign investment during the first two months were 5,444, a descent of 9.02 percent year on year.

Until the end of February China has approved the setting up of 514,385 foreign-invested companies. Contracted foreign investment has reached $1,116.66 billion while foreign investment in actual use has reached $570.069.
