Businessman registers "Yangtze River Delta" trademark

The three Chinese characters "Chang San Jiao" (Yangtze River Delta) will for the first time make its appearance as a registered trademark on the pressed duck produced by an enterprise of Zhejiang province.

A pressed duck-processing enterprise located at Cixi of Ningbo received the other day the notice from the State Trademark Bureau, saying that the application for the "Chang San Jiao" to be used as its trademark has officially passed the examination and approval.

This is the first time for "Chang San Jiao", a special term to be used as a trademark registration in the country. The applier for the trademark registration is Zhu Pengfei, a person in charge of the Henghe Cross-sea Pressed-duck Processing Factory at Cixi of Ningbo, Zhejiang province. This is an enterprise for pressed-duck processing, the largest one in the whole country.

According to what he revealed, though the trademark "Chang San Jiao" has just got the approval its formless value has already come to show. At present, he has just completed the signing of a contract with an enterprise in Wuxi and the two parties came to an agreement that the trademark "Chang San Jiao" together with the processing technology of Henghe Pressed-duck Processing Factory can be evaluated as 40 percent of the shares and so the trademark alone will come to worth some RMB 10 million yuan in value.
