Cuba reiterates support of one-China principle
font size

The Cuban government spoke highly of China's newly adopted Anti-Secession Law and reiterated its support of the one-China principle on Tuesday.

"Cuba, from the very triumph of the Revolution, has supported the territorial integrity of China and the cause of the Chinese national reunification," Cuba's Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The statement also expressed support for the Anti-Secession Law passed Monday by China's National People's Congress, saying the legislation will help promote peaceful reunification, maintain peace and stability across the Taiwan Straits and safeguard the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of China, it said.
