China's industry reports year-on-year increase of 16.9%

From January to February, the industries of certain scales in China have reported added value of 903.4 bln yuan, representing an increase of 16.9 percent as against same period of last year. The increase rate is basically the same to that of the previous year.

According to a monthly report released by the State Statistics Bureau, the energy, smelting and electronic products have maintained robust growth in January and February. The output of row coal and electricity has increased by 12.2 percent and 12.1 percent respectively; output of crude steel and rolled steel have rose 22.9 percent and 19.4 percent respectively; the micro electronic computer has reported an increase of 47.8 percent in output.
