The world longest Tibetan calligraphy scroll

Gamachilie (transliteration), associate professor on literature from Tibet University, spent three years in creating a Tibetan calligraphy scroll more than 130 meters long, which has recently been listed as a Guinness world record.From January 1, 2002 to January 1, 2005, Gamachilie put altogether 11,200 Tibetan characters in eight styles on the scroll. Picture shows Gamachilie (first from left) telling his colleagues how he created this work.
