font size

The Chinese government on Friday donated 20 units of giant excavators to Cambodia to support the country's construction and development.

At a handing-over ceremony, Cambodia's Minister of Water Resources and Meteorology Lim Kean Huor thanked China's assistance.

Lim said Cambodia and China are two friendly neighbors. "We, Cambodian people, will never forget the consistently help and support offered by the Chinese government and people in our political, economic and other fields."

He expressed the belief that the excavators will play an important role in Cambodia's national construction and development.

Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Hu Qianwen said the donation demonstrated again the importance the Chinese government has attached to the traditional friendly relations between the two countries.
