Airport Authority Hong Kong announced on March 20 that Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) has been named voted Best Airport Worldwide in a global airport survey in 2004.

In the authoritative AETRA survey co-conducted by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Airport Council International (ACI) last year, HKIA was ranked top among 40 airports in overall passenger satisfaction.

Travelers surveyed appreciated the politeness and helpfulness of the HKIAs staff, its comfortable and pleasant ambience and high efficiency and the convenient traffic around the airport.

Other top-ranking airports include Incheon of the Republic of Korea (ROK), Singapore, Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia and Dubai of the United Arab Emirates.
