Some 4,500 representatives from 35 countries and regions are to participate in the 8th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention (WCEC) to be held in Seoul, South Korea, this October, according to the organizing committee.
Utmost preparations are being made to stage a successful and productive gathering with great participation from Chinese business leaders worldwide, Kuo-Tung Yuan, chairman of the convention's organizing committee, said here Thursday at a promotion meeting jointly held by the committee and the South Korean government.
The meeting, to be held from Oct. 9 to 12, has theme of "Growth with Chinese Entrepreneurs, Global Peace and Prosperity," said Yuan.
"The meeting will be a networking opportunity and a ground for Chinese business leaders to interchange ideas and information, seek business ventures, and solidify its cooperative efforts and friendship by being the most dynamic convention of all," he said.
He expected that Korean-born Chinese and Koreans will further enhance their community building and networking and promote sustainable economic development.
