Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress (NPC) Cheng Siwei met in Beijing Sunday with Enrique Urquidi, president of the Andean Parliament.

Cheng briefed Urquidi on China's political and economic situation, and exchanged views with the president on establishing and developing friendly cooperation between the NPC and the Andean Parliament.
