font size

Premier of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Pak Bong Ju left Shenyang Sunday for his country, concluding his six-day official goodwill visit to China.

During his stay in Shenyang, capital city of northeast China's Liaoning Province, Pak expressed his appreciation for the achievements made by China in the construction of socialist modernization, hoping to further consolidate and promote the ties between the DPRK and China.

As guest of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, Pak visited China for the first time since he took office in 2003. He has met with Chinese President Hu Jintao and held talks with Premier Wen Jiabao in Beijing.

Besides Beijing and Shenyang, Pak also visited Shanghai, China's economic hub, and Anshan, an industrial city in Liaoning.
