CPC pledges inter-party exchanges with India

A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) said Monday that the CPC is ready to develop inter-party exchanges and cooperation with all Indian parties, including the Nationalist Congress Party.

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remark while meeting with Sharad Pawar, the visiting president of the Indian party.

Wang said the party exchanges are expected to facilitate relations between China and India in a persistent, healthy and stable manner, noting there is the good momentum and deepening cooperation between the countries.

Pawar, also Indian minister of agriculture, spoke highly of current India-China relations, saying his party would further friendship with the CPC to enhance bilateral relations.
