Shenzhen hi-tech export growing fast

As learned from the Shenzhen custom high-tech product export of Shenzhen reached $4.44 billion during the first two months increasing by 20.4 percent year on year. The figure was 4.2 percentage points higher than the overall export growth in Shenzhen and accounted for 45.2 percent of Shenzhen's total export. It also made up 17 percent of total high-tech product export in China.

Among the products computer technologies and communications technologies registered an export volume of $4.07 billion increasing by 21.8 percent. Electronic product export reached $210 million; photoelectric products $110 million; computer integrated manufacturing export $18.99; and material technology export $14.87.
