font size

The National Development and Reform Commission identified the five fields of commercialization of energy hi-tech projects which would get major support from the government from 2005 and 2007.

The fives fields and related projects focus on the wind power, solar energy for power generation and heating, geothermal heating /cooling system, high-temperature gas-cooled reactor for power stations and hydrogen.

The Commission receives application from businesses for the special fund before the date of may 15 every year. Applicants are required to submit documents such as financial reports, environmental protection measures, bank credit grants files, etc.

China's law for renewable energy will be effective as of January 1, 2006.
