The Greater National Unity Nepal, a newly formed political front, made public its policy and programs here Saturday, which it said aim to lead the country towards peace and prosperity.
At a press conference, Muskan Poudel, president of the front, called for unity of all nationalists, democratic and monarchist forces against the anti-people elements in the name of democracy.
The policy and programs attach importance to the role of monarchy, law and order, social reform, unemployment, youth mobilization, free health camp and vocational education.
The Greater National Unity Nepal was constituted during a national gathering held on March 20-21. The front welcomes King Gyanendra's takeover of power on Feb. 1.
