Nepal will make some reforms to systemize its trade relations with China, a senior government official said here Saturday.
"Nepal will simplify the procedures in the trade sector in order to strength its economic relations with China," Finance Minister Madhukar Shamsher J.B. Rana told a delegation of Nepal Trans-Himanlyan Trade Association, the only non-governmental organization which has trade relations with China, who informed the minister of the problems existing in the bilateral trade sector.
"The government will study and solve the problem immediately that the businessmen are facing," Rana said, adding that it is ready to solve the problem shown in export and import by simplifying customs evaluation between the two countries.
Reconstruction of the Arniko highway, linking Kathmandu and China's Tibet Autonomous Region, will also be initiated soon to systemize the trade with China, Rana revealed.
