Commander of Turkish Air Force Ibrahim Firtina arrived in Beijing Sunday Afternoon, kicking off his official goodwill visit to China from April 3 to 7.

Firtina is visiting China at the invitation of Qiao Qingchen, commander of the Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA). The visit aims to promote understanding, friendship and cooperation between the two militaries, particularly the two air forces, according to sources with the PLA air force.
