Works of famous French cartoonist on exhibition in Beijing
As part of the French Culture Year in China, "Un Peu de Paris" (A little of Paris), an exhibition featuring French cartoonist Jean-Jacques Sempe's original works opened April 1 in Beijing, at China Millennium Monument Art Museum, which will last till April 20.
In a humorous and tender style, Sempe shows in his cartoons his care for the ordinary people. He calls them heroes for their struggle for living, no matter how trivial their achievements seem.
