China, Russia discuss cooperation on human resource development

Senior government officials from China and Russia agreed Monday to cooperate closely on human resources development.

During official talks with Russian presidential aid Victor Ivanov, Chinese State Councilor Hua Jianmin said he believed the two countries enjoy great cooperative potential in personnel administration and human resource development.

He suggested that the two sides improve exchange and enforce cooperation in this area.

Hua's suggestion was echoed by Ivanov, who said Russia values its friendly cooperative relations with China and is ready to cooperate with China in reforms of personnel administration and human resource development.

Ivanov is in Beijing at the invitation of China's Ministry of Personnel.
