Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and British Prime Minister Tony Blair talked over the phone Wednesday evening as arranged. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation of mutual benefit between China and Britain.

Wen is paying an official visit to South Asia covering Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India. He will conclude the three-day tour to Pakistan and head for Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh Thursday.
