Chinese consumers optimistic
font size

The National Bureau of Statistics says that an increasing number of Chinese consumers are optimistic about domestic economic prospects.

A latest bureau survey, released on Thursday, shows nearly 70 percent of consumers in the first quarter of this year are satisfied with economic development.

The statistics show optimism has been on the rise for the past nine months and most are confident about economic prospects for the next 12 months

The bureau points out that the increased trend reflects people's increased incomes and positive assessment of the Chinese economy.
