Zhejiang textile exports and dumping disputes both surged
font size

The robust year-on-year increase of Zhejiang textiles hit a record high of 51,9 percent from January to February this year.

However, the exports were mostly mid- and low-end market. And price wars were still the main marketing gimmicks.

Zhejinag is also the Chinese province which has been snowed with the most anti-dumping investigations in foreign markets.

It is reported that there are some 7000 textile producers in Zhejiang. Yet none of them have built their brands on the international market.

The local government is considering a pre-warning system for textile specific products.
