font size

As the Second Intellectual Property Rights Publicity Week draws near, China has unveiled a symbol for the publicity on the protection of intellectual property rights (IPR).

The main part of the symbol is composed of letters "I", "P" and "R" as the first letter of the words "intellectual", "property" and "rights" respectively. The three letters make up an image that resembles a human body, with the meaning that human beings are essential in knowledge; protect IPR and safeguard the rights and interests of their owners.

The publicity week falls on April 20 to 26. During the campaign, China will publish a white book on IPR protection, launch joint interviews with the theme "Protect IPRs -- We Are in Action" and will hold forum on IPR to be attended by enterprises.
