The Algerian government adheres to the one-China policy and supports China's Anti-Secession Law, said the Algerian Foreign Ministry in a statement on Monday.

The two countries have a long history of friendly relationship, and Algeria, as always, supports China's reunification efforts to safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity, said the statement.

In view of the importance of peace, stability and security of the Taiwan Strait, Algeria will stick to the one-China policy, it said.
