The main sponsor of Shanghai auto exhibition announced in the press conference in Beijing that the 11th Shanghai Auto Exhibition will be held in Shanghai from April 21 to 28, which is supposed to be the largest among all the auto exhibitions held so far in China, ranking top in Asia and the third worldwide.

It is said that the current auto exhibition has totally attracted more than 1,000 international auto makers, representing a 100 percent increase from the previous one. Additionally, the exhibition covers 120,000 square metres, 10,000 square metres more than that held in Beijing. It is reported that the presence of 30 CEOs from international well-known auto factories will grace the exhibition.

Wang Xia, secretary general of the Auto Branch under China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, noted that those world top auto makers such as Ford, Volkswagen, General Motor, Daimler Chrysler as well as BMW Group will participate the exhibition.
