China goes up in international competitiveness standing

China's international competitiveness has ascended from the 29th to the 24th in the world, said the global competitiveness report 2004 of the IMD International. The economic growth trend of China and India will bring about significant changes to the standing of international competitiveness. A total of sixty countries and regions are listed in the report and 323 items are evaluated for the standing.
