The leaders of the Chinese People 's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the country top advisory body, have agreed that "the building of a socialist harmonious society" will be the topic for the 10th meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee.

Jia Qinglin, chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, presided over the 24th meeting of the chairman and vice chairpersons Tuesday, which heard a report on the issue by Zheng Wantong, the secretary general of the CPPCC National Committee.

The General Office of the CPPCC National Committee is responsible for making preparations for the meeting to discuss the topic.
