Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn left China on Wednesday afternoon, concluding her 11- day visit.
The princess visited the Chinese Sanxingdui Ruins, believed to be the remains of the Shu Kingdom that disappeared 3,000 years ago. The ruins are 40 kilometers from Chengdu, capital of Southwest China's Sichuan Province.
During her stay in Sichuan, the princess opened a new Thai Consular Office in Chengdu Tuesday.
As guest of the Chinese government, Princess Sirindhorn arrived in Beijing on April 3, paying the 20th visit to China in the past 24 years.
She visited Beijing, the Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Gansu Province before going to Sichuan.
