China launches anti-dumping investigation against imported spandex
font size

China announced Wednesday that it will launch an anti-dumping investigation on spandex products imported from Japan, Singapore, the Republic of Korea (ROK), the United States and China's Taiwan.

According to an announcement from the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) , the ministry began Wednesday to investigate whether dumping exists, the scope of dumping and damage it has caused if dumping is confirmed.

Usually, anti-dumping investigations take one year to complete, said the ministry. But the deadline could be extended to October 12, 2006 under special circumstances, said the ministry.
