font size

More than 50 million Chinese now work in the circulations industry. The circulation industry has become the second largest in non-agriculture industries in terms of providing job opportunities, only next to the manufacturing industry.

According to the State Statistics Bureau, China's total retail sales of consumer goods had reached 5.4 trillion yuan in 2004, 35 times higher than that of the 1978. The total sales of productive material had increased to 11.4 trillion yuan, 48 times of 1994. A circulation network covering cities and villages has been basically formed. The added value of the circulation industry is ahead of other third industries in terms of its proportion in the GDP.
