First Data Corporation announced Friday that it has signed a VisionPLUS license and services agreement with Bank of Communications (BOC) Hong Kong Branch.

According to the agreement, First Data Corporation, global leader in electronic payment technologies and services, is to provide Bank of Communications with support on its credit card issuing strategy in Hong Kong.

First Data will provide its VisionPLUS software card processingsystem, as well as user training, system integration and maintenance services to enhance the growth of the bank's credit card business.

VisionPLUS is a one-source global solution for all credit cards,lending and related processing needs. It is highly versatile and can be tailored to specific operational needs supporting multi-product and multi-currency environments.

It is designed to help banks, finance companies, retailers, credit unions, telecommunication companies and utilities reduce their back-office costs.
