Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra would visit three foreign nations later this month, local news Paper reported Sunday.

Speaking during his weekly radio address Saturday morning, the prime minister announced that he would leave Thailand for the three-nation tour on April 21-27.

"I will be in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta between April 21-23 to attend the forthcoming Asia-Africa Summit. I'll then pay official visits to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Sultanate of Oman between April 24-27 to enhance the kingdom's ties and cooperation with the two Gulf states," he disclosed.
