Beijing chooses five Olympic economic consultants

Five experts from Belgium, France, the United States and China have been chosen as senior financial consultants for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

The five experts all have research and planning experience in Olympic host cities. They are expected to offer suggestions on how to maximize Beijing's Olympic economy.

Beijing started accepting applications for Olympic economic consultants last September.
