794km track laying completed at Golmud-Lhasa section of Qinghai-Tibet Railway

A length of 794 kilometers of track laying has been completed at the Golmud-Lhasa section of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, and 413 bridges constructed.

The track laying work went on smoothly after resumption on March 10, with 29 out of the 32 key projects along the line finished.

Total work has been finished for 75.489 million cubic meters of earth and stone, 81858.43 running meters for super-large bridges, 55587.85 running meters for large bridges, 13398.74 running meters for medium-sized bridges and 4822.9 running meters for small bridges. Besides, 37381.81 running meters of culverts, 9,074 running meters of tunnels, 2,745 square meters of house building, 627.06 kilometers power line and 418.77 kilometers communication line are also finished.
