22 anti-gov't guerrillas killed in western Nepal

At least 22 anti-government guerrillas and three securitymen were killed in a clash late Tuesday afternoon in western Nepal, Radio Nepal reported.

"At least 22 rebels and three security personnel were killed in a clash between a group of armed rebels and security forces in western Nepal late this afternoon," the state-run radio said.

The clash occurred at Ramja and Rakot localities in Rolpa district, some 400 km west of Kathmandu.

Meanwhile, the army personnel recovered 13 units of arms at the clash site.
