China's State Council has asked governments and departments at all levels to adopt measures to reduce the unauthorized fees shouldered by the private and individual enterprises.
At a meeting held in Beijing Monday, the State Council said the abolishment of various kinds of unauthorized fees collected by local governments from the state-owned enterprises is also applied to the non-state-owned enterprises.
It is not permitted to collect unauthorized funds from the private and individual enterprises, the State Council said.
Many regulations concerning collecting fees that are targeted at the private and individual enterprises should be abolished.
Registration fees for small enterprises will also be called off.
Meanwhile, the State Council called for strengthening the supervision and inspection on the work to ensure the implementation of the above-mentioned measures.
All the state rules and regulations concerning the non-state-owned enterprises will be made public through the media and government websites, the State Council said at the meeting.
