2.7 mln urban Chinese find jobs in January-March

The number of newly added employees in China's urban areas reached 2.7 million in the first quarter of this year, accounting for 30 percent of the 9-million goal set for the year, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security said in Beijing Thursday.

Some 1.1 million laid-off workers found jobs again in China in the first three months this year, accounting for 22 percent of the 5-million goal set for the whole year.
