China holds dialogues with EU on competition policies

Mr. Philip Lowe, head of Competition Directorate-General with the European Commission pays a visit to Beijing on April 21 to 22.

His two-day visit includes meetings with Ma Xiuhong, Chinese Vice Commerce Minister for a disscution on the result of the second conference for the Sino-EU talks on competition policy and with senior officials with the law affairs office of the State Council and the General Administration of Industry and Commerce.

Their dialogues are supposed to be focused on issues concerning the corporate management mechanism building and the role of competition policies in a market economy.
