The test flight of Xiao Ying (eaglet)-500 has been completed. During the flight the aircraft created three records in China's civil aircraft.

The test was conducted according to the country's stipulations on civil aviation. It set three records in national civil aircraft including stall speed and stall feature. Among the 339 flights for 38 items in five subjects, eight flights were on risk.

Having overcome difficulties, Chinese pilots completed all the subjects in only nine months. After the test flight, the aircraft will be granted eligibility certificate by May and then put into manufacturing. 24 planes will be produced this year. Moreover, the preliminary plan for Xiao Ying-800, based on Xiao Ying-500 has been outlined.

Featuring long distance, low fuel consumption, safety and comfort as well as low cost, Xiao Ying-500, is China's first four-seat business aircraft for private use.

The airplane ids jointly developed and manufactured by Shijiazhuang Aircraft Industry Co., Ltd under China Aviation Industry Corporation II (AVIC II), the First Aircraft Institute of China Aviation Industry Corporation I (AVIC I) and China Civil Aviation Flight University

The overall performance of Xiao Ying-500 is on a par with foreign aircrafts of the same type.
