PNA holds Israel responsible for 39 miscarriage at military barriers

Palestinian Health Minister Zohdi el-Wiheidi said Saturday that 39 unborn babies died at Israeli army barriers after their mothers were prevented from reaching hospitals.

Dozens of pregnant women prematurely gave birth to their babies at Israeli army barriers, said Wiheidi, who held the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for the miscarriages.

On Tuesday, a woman miscarried after being delayed more than two hours at the Tufah checkpoint by Israeli soldiers, although she had the previous permission from the Israeli side to pass the checkpoint.
