Real-estate sector not to witness massive price increases

According to the real-estate report released by State Bureau of Statistics on Apr. 25, after years of monitoring, the general price level increase of real estate sector and the annual real estate price increase in some major cities maintained around five percent, no massive price increases reported so far.

Among with the improvement of land market regulations, readjustment of land supply and structure, as well as the further opening of land market information, it is estimated that the land price will not witness massive increase, instead, it will maintain or even go lower than last year��s level.

The statistics shows that the accumulative investment of national real estate development reached 23.24 billion yuan in the first quarter this year, a year-on-year increase of 26.74 percent or down 0.3 percent from two months earlier. Among the total investment, the investment for housing construction took up 15.33 billion yuan, up 26.6 percent. The average national commercial housing price increased by 12.5 percent in the first three months, up 5.8 percent from that of the same period last year.
