Jia Qinglin, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), will pay visits to the Mexico, Cuba, Colombia and Uruguay from May 9 to 20, according to sources with the CPPCC national committee.

Jia will tour the four Latin American nations at the invitation of Diego Fernandez, senate president of the Mexican Congress of the Union, Ricardo Alarcon, president of the National Assembly of the People's Power of Cuba, Colombian Congress President Luis Gomez and the Uruguayan government.
