Large scale seawater desalination hopefully comes true

China's Beida Jade Bird New Energy Company will work together with Israel's IDE technologies to develop and manufacture seawater desalination equipment, according to an agreement between the two companies. The cooperation is now in full swing.

Fresh water produced by IDE technologies will meet chemical industry, large industrial boiler and bio pharmaceutical industry's demand for high quality fresh water. To guarantee power supply for the seawater desalination project, the Beida Jade Bird, along with China Nuclear Industry Corp have developed "low-temperature, common pressure nuclear reactor", which has passed inspection by the State Nuclear Safety Administration.
