First branch of HSBC established in Beijing

The year of 2005 marks the 140th anniversary of the establishment of HSBC. On Apr. 28, HSBC set up its first sub-branch in Beijing World Trade Centre shopping mall, becoming the first foreign bank that established sub-branch in the city so far.

The HSBC Beijing world trade centre branch is attached to HSBC Beijing branch, and mainly provides individual clients with banking and financing services.
