CCB vows to be listed within the year

Guo Shuqing, board chairman of China Construction Bank (CCB), said on Apr. 28 at the Branch President Spring Symposium that the head office is contacting with many potential strategic investors, and the substantial negotiation is currently underway and CCB has began investigations on these investors so far.

Guo added that CCB will do all it can to go public overseas while further straightening out the relations within stockholders' conference, board of directors, board of supervisors as well as administrative departments. This is the first time that CCB released details on when to go public.
