Spar Group opens first store in China

The Spar Group's first store in China, which is jointly put up with Shandong Jiajiayue Chain Store Group opened on April 28 in Weihai, east China's Shandong Province.

Owning 15, 000 stores in 34 countries around the world, The Sapr group is the largest voluntary chain group in the world, which is dedicated to promotion of chain stores globally. The sales volume of the group reached US$ 35 bln in 2004. The Shandong Jiajiayue Chain Store Group is a regional retail group that owns 140 stores and reports sales volume of 3.5 bln yuan in 2004.
