Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan met Friday with Myanmar Foreign Minister U Nyan Win, saying China will not interfere with its southern neighbor's domestic affairs and hopes to further friendly cooperation.
"The good-neighborly cooperation between China and Myanmar witnessed sound progress since we two countries established diplomatic ties 55 years ago," Tang said. "The mutual-beneficial cooperation in all fields yielded rich fruit."
The Chinese government will strengthen cooperation with Myanmar in various sectors especially economy, trade and drug-control, Tang said. He said he appreciated Myanmar's adherence to the one- China policy and supports to China's strive for reunification.
