font size

Northern Consortium UK (NCUK) has officially launched "the employment plan for students returned from overseas study'' in China recently reports the overseas edition of the People's Daily. In future the Chinese graduates from the consortium partner universities will have opportunities to practice and obtain jobs in cooperative enterprises. The plan will be launched in an all-round way in the cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, Wuhan, Qingdao, Suzhou and Wuxi this year.

According to "Guangzhou Daily'', the plan includes the following six respects, namely: professional job information, instant job information, qualified growth records, specially-made job training, British part-time job chances and practicing chances in China.

The plan will be divided into five stages: First, the cooperative enterprises contact Chinese students with NCUK, screen students who may become their employees ahead of time, and follow their studies afterwards; Second, students will be admitted to the partner universities of the NCUK when finishing the preparatory courses at home; Third, students will get a year's work chance in Britain, Europe or domestic joint ventures after two years of university study; Fourth, after one-year internship, students will get back to the university for the last year study; Fifth, if students succeed in obtaining degree, and make enterprises satisfied in their one-year internship, they will be employed formally by the enterprises where they once practiced.
