82 foreign experts awarded "Expert Certificate" in China

At the on-the-spot administrative meeting recently held by Jiangsu provincial Administration of Foreign Experts in Suzhou, 82 foreign experts from 11 different countries were awarded Chinese "Expert Cerfificate". This is the firs time that China issues expert certificates to foreign experts.

China began to issue two kinds of expert certificates, namely cultural and educational as well as economic and technological. All the foreigners that hold the Z or F visas issued by Chinese embassies or consulates in foreign countries could apply for foreign expert certificates while working in China.

The certificate functions as the acknowledgement of contribution made by foreign friends to China's economic construction. The certificate holders could enjoy China's favourable policies in terms of visa application, residence, foreign exchanges as well as tax payment.
